FILEX 2010 Day 1 Wrap Up, One Word: AWESOME!

Now it's very easy for us Network people to toot our own horn - and FILEX 2010 is certainly an opportunity to do so. BUT after having spent the better part of the morning and early afternoon at the Business Summit and visiting some of the 7 pre convention offerings that were on board, I am convinced that the Fitness Industry in Australia is in great shape!

From a sold out Business Summit that had more than 200 enthusiastic club owners and operators, the PT Summit with +70 eager PTs to the TRX Suspension Training pre-con at V Club in the CBD and the Advanced I.C.E indoor cycling workshop at City Gym in Darlinghurst - there was certainly something for everyone.

I always find FILEX and other fitness events around the world inspiring and thought provoking. It shows that members of our industry really cares about furthering their education and becoming the best they possibly can be. It is absolutely inspiring to see people thinking, sweating, working hard and pushing themselves harder than they thought they could - all in the spirit of education.

Day 1 of FILEX 2010 was a huge success - and I, and the rest of the Network team look forward to what the rest of this awesome weekend brings.
