Thanks everyone who made Filex 2010 possible. I loved every minute of it. Very inspirational, especially speakers such as Andrew Griffiths, Bruce Sullivan and Jay Blahnik. I have learned so much. Now I have to put it into practice! I will be back in 2011.

It was my very first FILEX this year and I'm already looking forward to the next one! I found it so inspirational to listen to all the presenters share their experiences and words of wisdom. The PT business summit was amazing, as was the breakfast. I got so much out of every single presentation I attended and am itching to get started on improving not only my business, but myself. Well done on putting together FILEX 2010.

Highlights from FILEX 2010 so far.

Well almost 4 days have passed since the first pre-convention workshop began and all we can say is WOW! The response to all the presenters and sessions has been overwhelmingly positive and you can see smiles on peoples faces as they walk the halls of the Sydney Convention Centre.

FILEX 2010 is the best I have seen. I have been attending every year since 1992. So amny inspiring people here wishing to improve their skills. Every year FILEX gives me a massive boost and a huge range of new ideas to take away and implement.

Club management... Amanda Bracks-Taylor style

Amanda Bracks-Taylor started off in membership sales 13 years ago, where she quickly evolved to centre manager, growing the membership base at that club from 1,800 to 4,500.

"I've been managing clubs since then, while also consulting on sales, marketing and business development to over 500 clubs around Australia and New Zealand. Now I am the general manager for BlueFit and run three health clubs and I am also the sales and marketing manager at Leisure One (we distribute Matrix, Johnson, Links, Xercise Po, Swimtech, Training Sense and deliver sales training and marketing flyers). Ever met... a wild woman on top?
