Network’s CEO talks #FILEX2017
Australian Fitness Network’s CEO, Ryan Hogan, spoke with The Fitness Business Podcast’s host, Chantal Brodrick, recently about all that’s in store for the flagship event’s return to Sydney after a three-year residency in Melbourne. From the 35:43 timemark of episode 88 (after Chantal’s interview with drug kingpin turned fitness entrepreneur Coss Marte), Hogan discusses everything from the high calibre of international and local presenters, to the brand new venue itself (the recently opened International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour), and his hopes are justifiably high for what promises to be a remarkable event.
With a firm focus on growing your business, The Fitness Business Podcast has been gaining momentum since it launched in 2015. Reflecting on what podcasts have to offer compared to other mediums, Brodrick, said; ‘The benefit of a podcast for owners and managers is they can listen when it suits them. Video is an amazing platform, but you have to watch and listen. Blogs need to be read. Podcasts are audio only, which means our tribe can ‘consume’ the content while they are working out, driving, walking, or undertaking any other activity.’
In another FILEX connection, event presenter Luke Carlson also appears in a recent episode of the Fitness Business podcast. Luke is the founder and CEO of Discover Strength whose personal training facilities are among the highest volume/revenue training facilities in the US. If you’re still deciding which sessions to take in at #FILEX2017, then after listening to Luke's fitness business insights in this podcast, his sessions will undoubtedly be making your list.
