Precor launches direct sales model in WA

In a move that marks the end of its use of distribution partners to sell its products, fitness equipment provider Precor has commenced direct sales in Western Australia.

The announcement aligns Western Australia with Precor’s global strategic direction of expanding sales, marketing, operations and customer service as a direct function in large markets, highlighting the importance and potential the Western Australian market offers.
Thanking Nordic Fitness for a successful three year partnership, Peter Dugmore, Precor Australia Business Manager said: ‘Precor has enjoyed steady growth in Western Australia through its partnerships with major customers such as Anytime Fitness, Venues West, Eaton Recreation Centre, Non Stop 24 Fitness, Sista Fitness, Roar Fitness and Vamp Fitness to name just a few, and Nordic Fitness has contributed to this growth.

‘The new structure will allow Precor to build even closer local relationships and a greater understanding of customer needs so we can tailor packages including finance, integrated software solutions, service and marketing to best suit individual operator needs. The changes will see a dedicated Precor sales model established within Western Australia.’

The new Precor team in WA will be led by Paul Kelly, who has been involved in the Australian commercial fitness industry for over two decades and has been overseeing the Western Australian market for Precor for the past three years.
