Help the 80% of women that experience pelvic floor problems during exercise

Do you work with women who exercise? If so, Monash University needs you to help their research into this area by filling in a quick survey.

Up to 80% of women experience pelvic floor problems – such as leaking urine, wind, stool or feelings of prolapse – during exercise. The team at Monash need fitness professionals like you and your colleagues to share their insights in this 10-minute survey.

The researchers are looking to find out whether screening and management for these symptoms occurs in the sports and fitness environments, and to what degree.

Taking part involves completing a short and anonymous online survey. The researchers are interested in the opinion of all fitness and health professionals – you DO NOT need to be currently screening or managing pelvic floor symptoms to fill out the survey.

The researchers are very keen to also hear from male fitness professionals that don’t necessarily specialise in this area.

By participating in this survey you can help provide valuable insights into this difficult area, and you will also be entered into a draw for one of three $100 Coles Myer vouchers. The first 40 participants to complete the survey will also receive a $20 Village movie ticket voucher.
