How sessions work
How We Plan Your Training Program
Every personal training session in Elsternwick runs for 45 minutes. Your program starts with a conversation and a movement check, not a template.
- 1
Chat
Your goal, training history, injuries and how often you’d like to train.
- 2
Screen
How you squat, hinge, push and pull.
- 3
Plan
A realistic goal and a starting point you can manage.
- 4
Review
Regular check-ins, so the plan changes as you do.
Your first session
We talk through your goals, your week, your health history and any past injuries. Then we take you through a short, manageable workout, so you leave confident rather than sore. Your first session is free.
Start straight away
The most common mistake we see is waiting until everything feels ready. Plenty of people spend months getting ready to get ready, so we’d rather you begin your program now and build on the momentum you already have.
Routines that last past week four
The clients who get the best results aren’t the most athletic or the most motivated. They’re the most consistent, usually for six months or more. Around week three or four, training stops feeling like effort and starts feeling like yours, so we build routines that fit your real week, not a perfect one.
Our 6-week program
The 6-Week Lean Body Reset
The 6-Week Lean Body Reset is a $1,399 program built on simple habits.
It includes two training sessions a week with your trainer, the coaching app, nutrition tracking and a set of guides. Your result comes down to how consistently you follow it.
What results can you realistically expect?
Hit 80% of the checklist and you’ll be happy with your result. Fat loss comes from doing the basics week after week, and most people find their energy and training improve too. Tell us your goal early so we can coach you towards it.
What gets in the way?
Work deadlines, school pick-ups and poor sleep are what usually knock people off track. Lock three to four workouts into your calendar before the week starts and they’re much harder to skip.
The weekly checklist
Every client follows the same plan each week:
- Walk 10,000 steps a day.
- Log your food in the app, hit your protein target and stay under your calories.
- Weigh in on Sunday morning and fill in your check-in form.
- Read all the guides in your first week.
- Train at least 4 times a week: your 2 sessions with your trainer plus 2 on your own.

Personal Training Compared With a Membership, Class or Online Program
A gym membership gives you access, but you design your own training. A group class offers energy and company, and an online program gives you flexibility without anyone correcting your form. One-on-one sessions give you a coach who watches your technique and adjusts the plan in real time.
Who suits single sessions?
Single sessions suit people who already eat well, or who want one-on-one technique work around a busy diary. If you want nutrition tracking, guides and weekly check-ins as well, the package is the better fit.
Who suits the 6-week package?
The package suits people who want to lose fat with structure: two sessions a week, a clear program and someone checking in on them. If you only want the odd session, go with single sessions.
How we train
Strength, Weight Loss and Conditioning Programs
Every program we write starts with strength, because a stronger body handles everything else better.
One-on-one strength and resistance training
Strength training builds a leaner, stronger body, and we coach each exercise until your technique holds up under load. With progressive overload, we gradually raise the weight, reps or difficulty so your muscles keep adapting. It also makes carrying the shopping and getting up off the floor easier.
A nutrition and weight loss program you can stick to
If you want to lose weight, we build the work around habits you can keep. Sustainable change usually comes from regular strength sessions and simple nutrition targets, not crash dieting. We don’t promise a particular result, because progress depends on your health, your schedule and how consistently you train.
Strength and conditioning for sport
For athletes, we work as your strength and conditioning coach and build the power, speed and fitness your sport needs. If you have an injury or a medical condition, we’re happy to work with your health provider so your program matches their advice.
Strength training
Resistance work, loaded in small steps.
Weight loss
Training plus simple nutrition targets you can keep.
Mobility
Hips, shoulders and upper back that move freely.
HIIT
Short, hard intervals once your base is ready.
Female & NDIS training
Female Personal Training and NDIS-Supported Sessions
Our sessions suit anyone who wants a coach who listens first. We adjust every program to your health, training history and comfort level, and you progress at your own pace.
Women’s health and strength
Female trainers are available on request, such as Britt and Michaela. We train women through postnatal recovery, perimenopause and later life, adjusting load and exercise choice at each stage. We ask about your health history and any injuries before we start.
NDIS personal trainers in Elsternwick
We coach National Disability Insurance Scheme participants. Each session is adapted to your ability, with clear instructions, and you’re welcome to bring a support worker or carer. Read more about our NDIS personal training.
Small group sessions
Small-group training suits friends or partners who want to train together, or anyone who turns up more reliably when others are counting on them.

- Which fitness qualification do you hold, and which registered training organisation issued it?

- Are you registered with an industry body such as Fitness Australia, or accredited with Exercise & Sports Science Australia?
- Do you hold a Working With Children Check if you train under-18s?
Price, cost and what’s included
Cost matters, and a plan only works if you can stick with it for months. One client told us they love training with us but “the cost may get a bit much”, which is why we lay out exactly what each option includes up front. Ask any trainer what a session covers before you commit, and whether there’s a lock-in contract.

Where do you train Elsternwick clients?
At your home (our mobile trainers bring the equipment), outdoors, or in one of our network's gyms. Home sessions are the most private and need no travel, so pick whichever fits your week.
What happens in my first session?
Your first session is free and runs for 45 minutes. We chat about your goals and health history, check how you move, then take you through a short, manageable workout. Tell us about any injuries beforehand so we can plan around them.

Can I book a female personal trainer in Elsternwick?
Yes. Mention it when you enquire and we'll match you with a female trainer such as Britt or Michaela.
Do you train NDIS participants?
Yes. We coach NDIS participants, and you're welcome to bring a support worker or carer to sessions. Bring your plan details when you enquire and we'll talk through how sessions can work for you.
