How sessions work

How We Plan Your Training Program

Every personal training session in Doncaster East runs for 45 minutes. Your program starts with a conversation and a movement check, not a template.

  1. 1

    Chat

Your goal, training history, injuries and the days you can train.

  2. 2

    Screen

How you squat, hinge, push, pull and balance.

  3. 3

    Plan

A written program with starting loads and weekly targets.

  4. 4

    Review

Regular check-ins, so the plan changes as you do.

Your first session

We talk through your goals, your week, any injuries and any advice from your GP or physio. Each session then starts with a quick check-in on sleep, soreness and energy, so we can scale the work up or down and you leave feeling capable, not flattened. Your first session is free.

A routine you can keep

Travel, a move, work pressure and cold mornings are what usually knock people off track. We ask you to lock three to four workouts into your calendar before the week starts, and when you’re away we modify the plan to suit whatever equipment you can find.

Start before the first session

Once you’ve booked, there’s no need to wait. We get you reading the guides, tracking your food and lifting your daily steps straight away, because that early momentum carries you into training.

Our 6-week program

The 6-Week Lean Body Reset

The 6-Week Lean Body Reset is a $1,399 program built on simple habits.

It includes two training sessions a week with your trainer, the coaching app, nutrition tracking and a set of guides. Your result comes down to how consistently you follow it.

What results can you realistically expect?

Hit 80% of the checklist and you’ll be happy with your result. Fat loss comes from doing the basics week after week, and most people find their energy and training improve too. Tell us your goal early so we can coach you towards it.

What gets in the way?

Work deadlines, school pick-ups and poor sleep are what usually knock people off track. Lock three to four workouts into your calendar before the week starts and they’re much harder to skip.

The weekly checklist

Every client follows the same plan each week:

  • Walk 10,000 steps a day.
  • Log your food in the app, hit your protein target and stay under your calories.
  • Weigh in on Sunday morning and fill in your check-in form.
  • Read all the guides in your first week.
  • Train at least 4 times a week: your 2 sessions with your trainer plus 2 on your own.

Personal Training Compared With a Membership, Class or Online Program

A gym membership gives you access, but you design your own training. A group class offers energy and company, and an online program gives you flexibility without anyone correcting your form. One-on-one sessions give you a coach who watches your technique and adjusts the plan in real time.

Who suits single sessions?

Single sessions suit people who already eat well, or who want one-on-one technique work around a busy diary. If you want nutrition tracking, guides and weekly check-ins as well, the package is the better fit.

Who suits the 6-week package?

The package suits people who want to lose fat with structure: two sessions a week, a clear program and someone checking in on them. If you only want the odd session, go with single sessions.

How we train

Strength, Weight Loss and Conditioning Programs

Every program starts with what you want your body to do, then works backwards from there.

One-on-one strength and resistance training

Strength training builds a stronger body, and we coach each exercise until your technique holds up under load. With progressive overload, the load, reps or difficulty creeps up in small steps as you adapt.

A nutrition and weight loss program you can stick to

Weight loss responds best to a mix of strength sessions, a daily step target you can keep up and simple nutrition targets. There are no banned lists or crash diets, just a few habits you can repeat.

Strength and conditioning for sport

For athletes, we work as your strength and conditioning coach and build the power, speed and fitness your sport needs. We bring in HIIT once a base is built, and only when your recovery allows it.

Strength training

Resistance work, loaded in small steps.

Weight loss

Training plus simple nutrition targets you can keep.

Mobility

Hips, shoulders and upper back that move freely.

HIIT

Short, hard intervals once your base is ready.

Female & NDIS training

Female Personal Training and NDIS-Supported Sessions

Our sessions suit anyone who wants a coach who listens first. We adjust every program to your health, training history and comfort level, and you progress at your own pace.

Women’s health and strength

Female trainers are available on request, including Britt and Michaela. We offer postnatal and perimenopause-aware training, adjusting load and exercise choice to suit where you are right now.

NDIS personal trainers in Doncaster East

We coach National Disability Insurance Scheme participants, with each session adapted to your ability, clear instructions and extra time where you need it. You’re welcome to bring a support worker or carer. Read more about our NDIS personal training.

Small group sessions

Our small groups stay small, so every workout still includes hands-on technique coaching. They suit friends who want to train together, or anyone who turns up more reliably when others are counting on them.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a personal trainer cost in Doncaster East?

With us, sessions are $100 for 45 minutes, with no lock-in contract and no gym membership needed. For a structured start, the 6-Week Lean Body Reset is $1,399 and combines coaching with nutrition targets and check-ins. Your first session is free, so you can try it before committing.

How often should I train with a personal trainer?

As a general guide, one or two coached sessions a week plus your own written-program workouts is a common way to start, and three to four workouts a week in total gives you a steady routine. We ask you to lock those workouts into your calendar before the week starts, and your coach can help you work out what fits your goal and schedule.

Is a personal trainer covered by Medicare?

No, Medicare doesn't generally cover personal training. Some private health funds may cover exercise physiology, so check your extras cover, and your GP can advise what support suits you. If you're an NDIS participant, ask us about supported sessions and bring your plan details.

What happens in my first session, and what should I bring?

Your first session is free and runs for 45 minutes. We chat about your goals and health, check how you move, then take you through a short, manageable workout. Bring water, a towel, comfortable activewear and supportive shoes, plus details of any injuries or advice from your GP or physio.

Should I choose mobile, outdoor or gym-based training?

Mobile training at home suits busy parents, shift workers and beginners who want privacy and no travel, and our trainers bring the equipment. Outdoor sessions use local parks when the weather suits, and gym sessions suit people ready for heavier lifting. You can pick whichever fits your routine.

Can I book a female personal trainer in Doncaster East?

Yes. Mention it when you enquire and we'll match you with a female trainer such as Britt or Michaela.
